What is doTERRA?
Founded in 2008, doTERRA was built on the mission of sharing therapeutic-grade essential oils with the world. Having seen for themselves the incredible benefits that can be had from using these precious resources, a group of health-care and business professionals set out to make this mission a reality. They formed a company and named it doTERRA, a Latin derivative meaning “Gift of the Earth.”
What is the doTERRA Business Opportunity?
Because of the tremendous potential for the continued growth for the continued growth of doTERRA, and because word of mouth or personal referral is the most common method of people learning about essential oils, doTERRA is very committed to direct selling as the vehicle by which its CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils are marked. Direct selling is generally defined as the selling of goods away from a fixed retail location and includes personal involvement by someone experienced in the use of the goods being sold.
How does it work?
The doTERRA compensation plan provides a robust earnings opportunity for all Wellness Advocates. Wellness Advocates may sign up others as Wholesale Customers or Wellness Advocates. They earn commissions based on the sales of product within their organizations and to their retail customers. The majority of Wellness Advocates earned enough to pay for a significant portion, if not all, of their own purchases each month.
The highest levels in the commission plan are the leadership ranks (approximately 0.5 percent of all doTERRA members). The 2016 average annual earnings for these ranks are shown in the following chart. Within these ranks are some doTERRA members that conduct business on a full-time basis. Working with Rebecca means that you participate in a plan to help you to reach these leadership positions within doTERRA.
